Hi everyone, its Madison McKeown your current America’s US Teen! I reside in Lincoln Nebraska, GO BIG RED! I am going to be a freshman at Lincoln Southeast High School this coming fall of 2009. I enjoy to dance, golf, cheer, travel, and my new hobby, PAGEANTS! Americas US Miss was the first pageant I was ever in and I’m so glad I started with this one! From other pageants I’ve heard that they’re very stressful and nerve racking, but in this pageant Megan makes it very easy for everyone to just relax and be themselves! The girls that I met we’re the nicest girls I’ve ever been around! They were also some of the most intelligent girls too. I know that I will stay close for years to come with all the girls in all the divisions! I’m looking forward to a great year including, traveling, photo shoots, and a cruse to the Bahamas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Twenty-year-old Angela Schenewerk lives in Kirksville, Missouri with her parents, Dale and Sharon Schenewerk, and her brother, Dale Jr. Currently, she works as a summer lifeguard in Kirksville and is an honor student pursuing a Biology degree at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. After graduation, she plans to enter a graduate program in Genetic Counseling and later work as a Prenatal Genetic Counselor. Angela has a strong passion for the fine arts, and hopes to help promote the need for the continuation of funding for fine arts in public school systems. Currently, she is vice-president of her college choir, a member of the select choir and women’s group. In addition to her academics, she will continue in her 14th year of piano performance and study. ln her free time, she also enjoys playing the oboe, singing, scrapbooking, baking, reading, and keeping active by playing intramural sports with the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and going on long, outdoor walks. She loves traveling, and is always excited to meet new people and have new experiences. She enjoys volunteering at Missouri School for the Deaf, Missouri Career Center-Kirksville, and participating in numerous volunteer activities for Student Foundation and Student Ambassadors at Westminster College. While new to pageants, Angela has developed a strong love for the programs and the poise and confidence they can help instill in young women. She hopes to encourage all girls to show their inner beauty and be the best they can be. Her favorite quote is “If you can imagine it, you can achieve it. If you can dream it, you can become it.” Becoming America’s US Miss has strengthened Angela’s belief in this quote, and she hopes to share the message with girls everywhere.
