Optional Contests

National Talent:

All contestants entered in this competition will perform and be scored at the talent competition.  From these performances the judges will select the top finalist.  The winners of this prestigious competition will receive a custom crown, banner, trophy and scholarship award. Make-up is allowed in all age divisions during this competition.  Talent contestants may use props. Time limit is 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Please bring your CD, clearly marked with your name and age division to the competition.  Bring an additional copy of your CD in case  your first copy is lost or damaged. If you are playing piano, please notify the pageant office at least 30 days in advance.  You may enter this competition more than once.  An entry fee of $100 must be paid for each talent entry.

Miss Spokesmodel Competition:

All contestants entered in the National Spokesmodel competition will perform and be scored during this on-stage competition.  From these performances, the judges will select the top finalists.  The winners of this competition in each age division will receive a custom national crown, banner, trophy and scholarship award.  Speech performances have a strict 200-word limit, counting all words except the title.  Bring two- typed, double-spaced copies of your speech to turn in at pageant check-in.  Your name, age division, and number of words should be clearly marked at the upper right hand corner of your speech. You may select any age appropriate topic of your choosing.  You may enter this competition more than once, with each entry judged separately.  An entry fee of $100 must be paid for each spokesmodel entry.

Photogenic Contest:

To enter the photogenic competition, contestants must bring a photo to pageant check-in.  From these entries the judges will select the top finalists and winners for each age division.  Photos may NOT be larger than 8 x 10.  Make up is allowed in all age divisions. However, your photogenic entry must emphasize your own age.  The national winners of this competition will receive a custom crown, banner, trophy and scholarship.  This may be entered more than once.  Each entry is judged individually.  An entry fee of $100 must be paid for each photogenic entry.  Remember to select a clear picture that shows YOUR personality!

Supermodel with Style Competition:

If you enter FOUR photo entries in the Photogenic Contest, you are automatically entered in this competition at NO Additional Charge.  This is judged on the entire portfolio of the photo collection.  This is similar to a modeling portfolio, to show different looks of your personality.  This prestigious national award will be presented in each division and the winners will receive…

National Actress Competition:

This is your chance to steal the spotlight and use your acting ability to advertise a commercial you might see on television.  The entry fee is $75 per Actress entry.  This can be entered more than once and each performance will be scored individually.  The national winner in each division receives a custom crown, banner, trophy and scholarship! 

    30 second time limit

   You may use a commercial of your choice or ask the pageant office for a selection of sample scripts

   You may use small props

   Be creative to show off your personality!

National Runway Model Competition:

NYC, Paris, Milan! This is your chance to strut your stuff as a high fashion model!  All contestants entered in this competition will have 30 seconds to walk the runway! Make up is allowed in all age divisions.  Be creative and unique in this competition! The judges are looking for runway walk and form, check out some of the designer fashion shows on YouTube.  Swimsuits may be worn only in the Junior Miss and Miss divisions.  Fashion Rocks!  An entry of $75 must be paid for each modeling entry, and this competition can be entered more than once with each entry judged individually.  Winners in each age division will receive a custom national crown, banner, trophy and scholarship award.

National Sportswear Competition:

All sportswear modeling contestants will model an outfit during this onstage competition.  This competition will look like a department store fashion show.  Each contestant will have 30 seconds to model her outfit.  Make up is allowed in all age divisions. No pro-am modeling, such as aerial spins, kicks or flips will be allowed.  Please remember to look “age appropriate” during this competition.  You may enter this competition more than once with entries judged individually.  An entry fee of $75 must be paid for each modeling entry.  The winners of this competition will receive a crown, banner, trophy and scholarship award!

No Entry Fee Competitions:

Miss Personality - No entry fee- Contestants vote for the girl who is the friendliest, most helpful and most fun to be around pageant weekend.  The winner will receive a trophy!!

Miss Spirit - No entry fee- The pageant staff vote for the girl who displays the most uplifting spirit throughout pageant weekend. The winner in each age division will receive a trophy.

Miss Promising Model - No entry fee- This award is presented to the contestant who stands out in the casual wear and evening gown competitions of the overall pageant.


Deadline to enter optional contests is July 30, 2013.  Any late entries will be charged a $25 late fee.  Please email, us with any questions!
